Adopt 2nd Platoon

1/7 USMC will soon deploy for the third time to Iraq. The Corps provides everything they "need" to fight the war, but the warriors believe a few more items would be a tremendous help. 2nd Platoon of B Company would really like to have some Binoculars, Scope, and a few other items. These things are VERY EXPENSIVE but will save lives and help the marines KILL TERRORISTS. If you would like to help 2nd Platoon send me an e-mail at serfbaja@sbcglobal.net for more information

Heading back to Iraq

1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment will soon head back to Iraq for a third time. The history of 1/7 is long and honorable (Read about it here) and they distinguished themselves in their previous deployments to Iraq. They are excited about returning and are well prepared for what they will be called on to do. There is no better prepared fighting force in the world than the US Marines. But they can always use a little help.................

.....Which is where you and I come in......

If you are like me, you will do anything to help these guys. I even requested that I be allowed to go as an "Embedded Dad", but the Corps did not see the wisdom in that. I guess I'll settle for helping them buy some things that will help them do their job

The Corps provides everything they "need" to fight the war, but the warriors believe a few more items would be a tremendous help. 2nd Platoon of B Company would really like to have some Leica Trinovid 10x32 Binoculars, Trijicon ACOGs, Leopold Scopes, along with other items (range finders, spotting scopes). These items are VERY EXPENSIVE but will save lives and help the marines KILL TERRORISTS.

They could use 4 of everything, but we'll start with 1 of everything, then keep going as long as we raise money.

If you would like to contribute money, or if you have an "in" with a manufacturer or distributor, please send me an e-mail. Donations will be posted by name or anonymously, and items purchaced will be listed.

I will soon be adding photos and more specific information.
